Factor 1: Lock model and features
A keypad, a Bluetooth lock, and a Wi-Fi lock are different installs. Fingerprint or app features add setup after the bolt is fitted. We do not rank brands on this page. Tell us the model you have, or that you want us to talk through options, when you call.
Factor 2: Door and prep
An existing deadbolt bore, door thickness, and the condition of the strike all change the work. A door that does not close square needs that addressed before a new lock will latch. See deadbolt installation when the job is a mechanical deadbolt instead.
Factor 3: Number of doors and matching finishes
